We have recently been informed that a new scam is circulating, a telephone call scam.<\/p>\n
The fraudulent entities are calling our members from a similar phone number to ours, and identifying themselves as a DNCU representative. They are then stating there is a charge from Best Buy (or other store) that they need to confirm. Our members state that the charge is not theirs, and the representative states they need the members username and password to verify them, which the members are giving to the fraudulent entities.<\/p>\n
Please do not give out your sensitive information, Del Norte Credit Union will not call you to ask you for this information. Hang up and report this to DNCU at 1-877-818-3628 right away.<\/p>\n
