IRS to Begin Advance Child Tax Credit Payments by Direct Deposit In July, 2021

DNCU members may begin noticing Advance Child Tax Credit deposits in their accounts from the Internal Revenue Service(IRS) starting in July, 2021 with recurring payments being made monthly until December, 2021.

The IRS has indicated that more than 36 million Americans families could be eligible for the ACTC payments.  In addition to direct deposits, the IRS will also send check payments but reloadable cards will not be used.
