2026 Shred Dates Announced!
At Del Norte Credit Union, protecting what matters most to our members goes beyond finances, it’s about peace of mind and caring for our community.
That’s why we host annual shred events, giving members a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive documents while helping prevent identity theft. These events are also part of our commitment to sustainability, ensuring shredded materials are properly recycled to reduce environmental impact. It’s just one more way we support our members, by keeping their information secure and our communities greener.
Shred Dates & Locations
All Shred dates below are 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.:
- April 25th, Española Ops, 701 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park Rd., Española
- June 13th, Midtown Financial Center, 604 W San Mateo Rd., Santa Fe
- August 15th, Trinity Branch, 1000 Trinity Drive, Los Alamos, NM 87544
Bins will be available in the lobbies, all day:
- Sept. 14-18, Drop off shred at bins in DNCU branches: Southern Financial Center, 2518 Southern Blvd. SE, and our Enchanted Hills Branch, 3634 Rio Rancho Boulevard NE, Suite 101

What can I bring?
You may bring up to 50 pounds of documents to shred. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed. Fifty pounds is roughly two banker’s boxes full of shred items. Staff is onsite and available to help unload your shred. Rubber bands, binder clips, CDs, hard drives or other E-storage devices, and cardboard are not accepted.

How often do Shred Events occur?
Shred Events are once a year, and usually begin in the Spring. Shred dates and times will live on this page, and will be updated as they are completed. Check back, every year, to find out when the Shred Events will come to your community!
