Del Norte Credit Union Recognized As Outstanding Financial Services Provider By Journal North’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards

Española, New Mexico, April 8, 2021 – As part of its annual recognition of outstanding organizations and businesses in northern New Mexico, Journal North has announced that Del Norte Credit Union is a first place winner in five categories related to financial products and services for their annual Reader’s Choice Awards, including:

  • Best Credit Union
  • Best Bank
  • Best Mortgage Lender
  • Best Auto Loan
  • Best Financial Planner

Chuck Valenti, DNCU’s President and CEO noted that, “this recognition is extra special for a year like no other, and I appreciate the many front-line staff that continued providing our members with outstanding service while keeping everyone safe during the pandemic.” He added that, “our team at DNCU has overcome challenges and worked hard to balance the safety of members and employees alike.”

Results were based on votes in the publication’s “Readers’ Choice” awards which include a wide variety of voting categories such as dining, health and beauty, media, non-profits and services in the region.

“Being recognized as a leader in our field this year is especially rewarding given the challenges of delivering services to our community during COVID-19,” explained Kim Currie, Chief Marketing Officer at Del Norte Credit Union.  “We have learned so many valuable lessons in service delivery and other areas during the pandemic and we’re going to carry that new knowledge into the post-pandemic environment to guarantee future member satisfaction and support.”
